Our young people’s Spring Musical

Mother’s Day, May 11

St. Mark’s has a year-long theme of ecology and taking care of the planet earth that God gave us for our human home. Our musical is written to give voice to the animals who cannot speak to us directly, protest, or wage war to gain political power or access to resources. To make the musical more meaningful, I am asking children, with their families, to write a poem about an animal; and give voice to their struggle with environmental issues such as air, water and land pollution and depletion of resources such as forests, rivers and lakes.
