ST. MARK'S

SCHOOL FOR DISCIPLES

The St. Mark’s adult educational program, sponsored by the Committee for Adult Education and Spiritual Life, includes Sunday morning classes, mid-week programs, small group study, and workshops throughout the year. The St. Mark’s School for Disciples is designed to nurture your spirit and help you live a faithful and joyful life as a Christian disciple in the world. The School will present a variety of opportunities for you to explore the basis of Church tradition and doctrine, deepen your understanding of the Bible, enrich your faith and serve as a disciple. Sunday morning classes meet in Geneva Hall - September through May.

This six-week course is based on the excellent Presbyterian Curriculum by the same name.

Copies will be provided ($3.00). The topics range from health and hunger to environment and hospitality, and there will be special guests in relevant areas, as well as a cool field trip.

Wednesday Morning

Bible Study

The Wednesday morning Bible Study begins on September 27, 2006 and meets weekly from 9 to 10:30 a.m. This intensive, small-group study led by the co-pastors.

Women of the congregation

The Women of the Congregation meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in Calvin Hall.  (September through May)

The Gathering:  Open to all members and friends of St. Mark’s and meets the 4th Tuesday of each month in Calvin Hall featuring fellowship and a guest speaker.  (September through May) Watch for more information in the Sunday bulletins detailing the speaker and topic for the month.
